Here is another picture from my trip to ESP (Eastern State
Penitentiary) in the Philadelphia area.
The much of the old prison is open to the public for tours and is left
in a status “stable ruin”. About
the only section improved or restored is Al “Scarface” Capone’s cell. It is restored to how it looked
(including furniture) when he lived in the specific cell. He had it great compared to 99% of the
other prisoners.
