Early morning photo walk around a Carnival cruise ship resulted in this series of pool photos. My problem is I don’t remember what ship or what trip these are from.
Pripyat Culture Center’s Swimming Pool
Here are a few photos (pre-war) of the community swimming pool in downtown Pripyat. This spot within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is very close to the iconic Chernobyl Ferris Wheel.
I’m sure that all visitors to Chernobyl visit both the Ferris Wheel and this swimming pool.
My heart continues to break for the people of Ukraine…. I’m going to run out of Ukraine photos soon that I haven’t posted already. I realize that by posting my Ukraine photos, that it doesn’t help the people of Ukraine. But I hope in some small way, it keeps them and their situation in our thoughts.

MJ and I have used these two loungers more times than I want to admit….. They sit at a wonderful spot on the Kimpton Seafire Resort property.

What more can I say? This is, what it is. Confidante Hotel and Spa in Mid-Beach area of Miami Beach.
Confidante Pools
How is your weekend going so far? I hope it is amazing…..if not here is a photo of the Confidante Hotel pools on Miami Beach Florida. I took this photo right after sunrise, when the pools were empty. Otherwise, I’d never get a photo of this spot without tons of humans in and around the pools.
Where I Should Be Now...
Here is another holiday photo for you. I took this last year at this time and if not for COVID, I’d probably be there again…. I miss you @seafireresort. Someday I’ll be back to visit you and the rest of Grand Cayman.
