I love this view!! I took this photo looking towards southern Manhattan from the Top of the Rock. I’d highly recommend spending an evening up there for a few hours ranging before and after sunset.

We captured some photos in downtown Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. My photo buddy posted his version of this building, so I’ll share my as well. For those of you who don’t know, this is an iconic building in the Burgh and the colors change color based on the weather.

I had a good photo walk with Blair, Brad and Dave recently in Pittsburgh. It was a nice hanging out with the guys and capturing some photos.
If you’re not familiar with Pittsburgh, this building is called the US Steel Building (even though it has UPMC on it) and is the tallest building in the city. There are great views from within and outside.

MJ and I are heading to Manhattan soon for a short trip. I’ll get some work in and some fun in (via photography, site seeing & great food).
That upcoming trip had me thinking about our last Manhattan trip. Therefore, this photo of One World Trade Center from that trip.

This photo is fairly old…maybe four or five years old. I don’t remember what year I traveled to Seattle. I could look it up, but I’m lazy as well. This photo has been processed and sitting on my hard drive waiting for it’s turn to see the world. I just forgot about it until this morning. I sat at this spot for about 4 hours taking pictures from early evening, through sunset and afterward into the blue hour. As you can see, it was a beautiful evening.

Here is a unique perspective of the US Steel Building in Pittsburgh. We don’t normally see the world from these angles. I’ve taken a bunch of photos looking straight up buildings in the past. I haven’t taken many like this using the opposite perspective. I’m digging it.

Here is a quick post for you today. Nothing fancy or any deep thoughts (those rarely happen). Just a beautiful photo I took last weekend. This is Point State Park in downtown Pittsburgh.
