Alaska Brown Bear

I’m still recovering from our most recent trip, which was a cruise to Alaska.  At one of the stops (Icy Straight Point), we did a nature hike.  During the hike, we came upon this mama bear and her two cubs.  Great experience!!

Beside the hike, I also did a polar plunge at this spot with over 100 other tourists.

By the way…. Why am I still recovering?  Well, I came back straight into an extremely busy work schedule, plus having to catch up at work from being gone.

Baby American Robins

MJ, Blair and I were out in the yard this morning messing around.  We found this American Robin nest in a small tree next to our house.  Inside were three tiny little baby American Robin birds.  I’m not a bird expert, so I’m guessing these little ones are only a few days old.  Someone out there can probably help determine their real age.  They were waiting for their mom to bring dinner.  Every time I made some noise, they would lift their heads like this expecting it to be mom.

Cape Town Park

I took this photo during our South Africa trip at the end of 2017.  We spent a little time in this park checking out the plants, flowers, and animals.  I wanted to check out where this path went to, but I didn’t get the chance.  What a beautiful spot.  Can you imagine having this amazing park in your hometown?

Ricketts Glen

Here is an oldie…meaning I took this photo a few years ago.  It has been sitting on my hard drive in my folder where I save photos to share with you some day.  For whatever reason, I’ve passed over this one for some time.  But today is the day for it.  Enjoy this waterfall from Ricketts Glen State Park in central Pennsylvania.
