I think this is considered the front of the U.S. Capital building. I guess it could be the back…I don’t know. Regardless, I took this photo about two years ago while MJ and I were visiting a friend. Tomorrow I’ll post a “Capital (Night-Rear)” photo of the same location. I think you’ll find it interesting to compare and contrast the photos…day vs night and front vs rear.

After exploring the Acropolis and Parthenonas in Athens Greece, I passed this home walking down the street on my way to lunch. The front of the home caught my eye and it resulted in this photo.

Tonight I have a photo for you from the Pittsburgh river in front of the convention Center. This is a 7 exposure auto-bracketed HDR images well after sunset. Maybe not the best composition, but I liked the boat tie down device (that’s probably not the technical term) in the photo.

Surprise Virtual Pep Rally
On Sunday afternoon, a large number of friends and family members are holding a Surprise Virtual Pep Rally for our friend, Larry. He is fighting a serious disease. His close family decided to hold this Pep Rally for him. So everyone is emailing him photos of themselves in their “Go Team Larry” shirts. I am sending my photo as well as posting it here for him. I hope he keeps his head up and gets healthy soon. Go Larry!!!!

Tonight’s photo is the front view of an old semi-abandoned
crane along the river in Pittsburgh.
I say semi-abandoned because they clearly haven’t used this crane in
years and have no plans to use it again in the future. But the concrete business is still
active and they drive vehicles under this crane every day. I took this photo while on a photo walk
with Dave and Brad last weekend.
