During our last visit to NYC, MJ and I walked all over Manhattan. Honestly, we covered a lot of ground and hit up some great spots. The Flatiron Building is one of my favorite buildings in the city. I’ve captured it from numerous angles and have visited it a couple of different times. I don’t think it gets enough credit among the world’s greatest buildings.

Flatiron Building
By popular request, well by MJ’s request….here is a photo of
the Flatiron Building in the borough of Manhattan. It is considered to be the first and groundbreaking
skyscraper in New York City. It
was completed in 1902 and was the tallest building in the city for a number of
years. When it was constructed,
the people in the city though the wind would blow it over. So the owners put their offices on the
top floor to show their confidence in the structure.
Over one hundred years later, it has become a landmark site that the city is proud of. I must admit it was one of my favorite buildings. It is hard not to like this cool looking building. There is this tiny park in front of it with people hanging out at little tables enjoying the environment. Cool place.
