Surprise Fireworks

A while back I went on a photo walk with Brad, Dave, and Jay along the train tracks in front of Station Square.  We were attempting to get some great cityscape photos from that angle.  Jay and I stayed out a little bit later than Brad and Dave.  So Jay and I just packed up our gear for the night, when out of the blue fireworks starting going off in front of Heinz Field.  Why????  Honestly, I don’t know since nothing was going on in the stadium or in town.  So we unpacked our gear and tried to capture a few photos before they stopped.

Independence Day

In the United States, it is Independence Day.  We celebrate the 4th of July every year with parades, flags, barbeques, family and lots of fireworks.  I took these pictures tonight in Canonsburg PA.  I probably should have gone into Pittsburgh for the big show, but I got lazy.  Regardless, Canonsburg put on a nice show.
