MJ and I visited this nice winery last October. That was probably the trip where we bot got COVID. Fortunately, we ended up okay, but I know 600k+ individuals across the United States (any many more across the world) didn’t make it. My heart goes out to all those families.
Back to the winery…they have a beautiful setting, nice facility and great wine. I captured these rows of grapes as we were driving away.
I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll say it again. South Africa was AMAZING!! It’s on my “return to” list. We had such a wonderful time. Great food. Beautiful landscapes. Cool wildlife. We lucked out with great weather. Extremely affordable and we visited some outstanding wineries. One of them was this cool estate called Boschendal Winery. During our last trip through Fort Lauderdale Florida, MJ and I had lunch at this beach side restaurant and bar. To my surprise, they had an huge neon Yuengling inside the place. So getting a Yuengling was tempting, but I went with this extra large drink instead.

I got this idea from another photographer about two months ago and was waiting for the best time to try this. I’d do it differently next time, but I think it turned out okay for the first time. They use brown sugar is all their Mojito’s at this resort, so they are an unusual brown color. To get this photo with a normal looking drink, I asked them to make it without the sugar. So the drink looks pretty, but tasted terrible. But the photo is the important item, not the drink.
I am posting this for Melanie, who doesn’t seem to drink anything else.
