Brad dragged me out of the house on a recent, very cold morning to take some photos, which turned out great. I didn’t love getting up at 530am, but we had a good time. Big thanks to Brad.
I captured this photo on the Clemente Bridge that morning.

Back on November 19th, I shared the first image from this photo shoot. Here are the rest of the photos from that night and a behind the scenes video.
This photo has been sitting on my hard drive for a long time. It was captured during the filming of our 3rd documentary…which never got out of editing room. Life got in the way.
I doubt anyone else has ever captured the Clemente Bridge like this before, but I could be wrong. It’ll be interesting to see if others have done it or will in the future.
Jason did a great job spinning that night.
Before we got snow in Pittsburgh this winter, Blair and I spent a little time in the Lawerenceville area photographing graffiti. This one takes up the entire side of a building honoring the great Pittsburgh Pirate Roberto Clemente.

I took this photo last Saturday when I met Brad Truxell downtown for the sunrise. This is the Clemente Bridge.
I dropped MJ off at the airport very early this morning so she could go visit Blair. Afterwards, I went into downtown Pittsburgh to meet Brad for some sunrise photography. After the sunrise, I captured this photo on the Clemente Bridge. Of course, Heather & Jacob made it here before me.
With 2020 lost to COVID, I didn’t get out and take as many photos as I normally would, and that has carried over into 2021. I’m just not motivated or energized like I was in the past….. Maybe work has taken a toll on me?? Regardless, I need to get out of this funk. So, I haven’t taken any spring photos this year. Therefore, here is one from 2019 down near the Clemente Bridge in downtown Pittsburgh.
Here is a photo I took in 2019 after the sunset on a warm evening. I love the Clemente Bridge and the view towards downtown……
Last weekend during the filming of the next Shutter Rush film (episode 3), we tried a few unique and different things in downtown Pittsburgh. We have a few surprises for you that we’ll save for the film release, but here is a preview of one item…. This is me creating an orb by light painting (using a light source to create an object with a long exposure photograph). You can see the photo below and/or watch the behind the scene video. You can see how I create the orb by watching the video below.

Happy Thursday night. Here is a photo I took about this time last year. I took this from the 6th Street Bridge (also called the Clemente Bridge) which connects the North Shore to downtown Pittsburgh.

I’m sorry…..another short post today….straight to the photo. I took this last summer well after dark on a night the city was dead….as you can tell since there were no cars on the street except for a couple. So, there you go!!

It’s been far to long since I posted a Pittsburgh bridge. So tonight, you’re getting the Clemente Bridge taken from the North Shore looking back at the city.

I don’t have much to say tonight, so I’ll just leave you with this photo of the Clemente Bridge (6th Street) and the Pittsburgh skyline beyond it.

I hope you have a great holiday tomorrow (4th of July). For those of you outside the United States, this is the day the U.S. celebrates its Independence Day.
For your viewing pleasure tonight, here is a photo of downtown Pittsburgh, which I captured this spring.

Busy this week…..so here is a photo I took a few months ago in downtown Pittsburgh. I took this underneath the Roberto Clemente Bridge, which crosses the Allegheny River. I have to go……have a great week.

Short post tonight….. I took this photo a few weeks ago in downtown Pittsburgh while the Pirates were playing the Athletics. It seems like everyone takes photos of these bridges aimed the opposite direction (back towards the city). I don’t see many aimed toward the stadium….. So here goes.

Have a great weekend. I had all kinds of ideas about what I could and should do…. And I’m not doing any of them. So, what did I do? I ran a 5K fun run today to raise money and awareness for TRPIL, but otherwise I’ve got lazy and didn’t do much.
I took this photo few weeks ago at dusk in downtown Pittsburgh. I think Pittsburgh is a beautiful city with amazing views. This is one of many such spots. If you’re not familiar with Pittsburgh, this is the 6th Street Bridge in the foreground and the downtown area of the city behind it.

I don’t share many iPhone photos, so this is a rare event. I captured this last week along the North Shore of Pittsburgh. I used the Portrait mode to get this effect and like it a bunch. There is just something great about spring….
