Here is another photo from our time at the Smithsonian museums. This is from inside the Fine Arts Museum lobby. I loved all the marble, circles, and other architectural features. The people also provide some scale to show you how large this place is in real life.

Back in January, Brad, Dave and I complete a photo walk around CMU (Carnegie Mellon University) in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh. What a great college campus. We took a number of photos inside some of their amazing buildings. This is the lobby of their College of Fine Arts. How cool is this place? My opinion…. Super Cool.

It’s been a few years since I was in San Francisco. But I’m still not done processing photos from that trip. Sad, but true. When you take as many photos as I do, it is easy to fall behind and I jump around a bunch when I am processing photos. I never just process one trip all at once. Anyway, today I had a chance to work on some processing and I decided to work on the SF trip. As I was working on them, I finished this photo. I honestly don’t even remember taking it, but I loved it.
This is looking straight up at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater rotunda ceiling. I’ve never seen this perspective photographed before, but I’m sure its been done a 1,000 times before. I hope you like it.

· Great game today between the University of Michigan and Michigan State University football teams.
· I’ll be photographing the Steelers vs. Cardinals NFL game tomorrow. Look for me on the sideline. I’ll be the guy getting run over by 300-pound lineman.

Okay.... so I posted a version of this yesterday. I liked the photo, but I wasn't in love with it. So I went to work on it after posting it to see if I could pull some magic out of it. I don't know if I achieved "magical status", but I like this version better. What do you think?
Maybe it’s because it has been a long week. Or maybe I just can’t think of anything to say. But as I sit here looking at the computer screen, I can’t think of anything to type for this photo…..
Anyway, I took this 7-exposure auto-bracketed HDR photo at the Palace Of Fine Arts in San Francisco last year at about this time. I had four great days in SF with MJ. We explored a ton of areas while we were there including Muir Woods National Monument (Redwood trees), Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, the bay, Alcatraz, China town, Financial District, Conference Center, a bunch of churches, etc, etc, etc.…… Basically we packed a lot into our limited time.
The Palace Of Fine Arts is a very cool spot in this wonderful city.
